Is there anyone else out there who is a terrible cook?

Honestly, I am just awful. I hate everything about it: shopping for ingredients and even simple recipes seem to require you to be in two places at once, making sure this doesn’t burn while adding this to the sauce …

I also always make far too much, somehow.

I have a friend whose dad used to say, if you can read, you can cook. Choose a book like Delia Smith's Complete Cookery Course, or an early Jamie Oliver, to learn some basic skills and take it from there.

Yes, me. I hate cooking. It's so boring. So I usually get distracted on my phone and then things burn or overcook. There are a million things I'd rather do than cook 😀

I can only dream of being able to do anything else other than focus on what I’m cooking! I find it so bloody difficult.

Yes me. I lack the organisational skills to follow a recipe and screw it up.

I think there are 2 things I can cook, beyond that I’ve given up trying, it’s far too stressful and demoralising!
