Swallows and Amazons - love the original. Not watched the remake as I heard there were some changes to the plot and I love the gentleness of the original
The Railway Children - why destroy a classic? You can't recreate it and I have seen the remake
The Italian Job - again. Why destroy a classic? Why not just make a new film with a different name?
Willie Wonka - I think I prefer the original - but that's the one I grew up on.
I am pleased some classic films haven't been remade. But are there remakes you prefer or do you stick to the original?
