What is the shopping like in Turkey?!

So I'm heading off to Oludenuz tomorrow, and wondered what the shopping is like there / in Turkey as a whole?

I have heard plenty about the fakes / market items. Are you actually allowed to bring these home?!

I'm hoping to find some pretty jewellery whilst there. Diamonds ideally as I'm searching for my wedding band.. anybody know if this is doable in turkey? Are there any stores that I should look for?

It's a fake paradise with the odd nice non fake boutique. The dcs stocked up on t shirts and sunglasses. There were some very good replica designer leather bags.

If you can get to fethiye that's a bit better. Hisaronu is absolute tat ville.
