Hi am just sorting out DDs new passport and was planning to renew online as I did mine recently and it was all very easy and painless .
Had a digital photo taken with the code to upload it today and then wondered how the countersignature works - I can't seem to find a clear explanation on gov.uk or via Google .
Has anyone done this recently - I need to be forwarned if I am going to get part way through the application and then revert to the old school way !
