How long till back pain goes away after kidney infection

Posting here for traffic. I have a post in health but not getting much response.

I'm on day 4 of antibiotics after finding leukocytes in my urine and having flank pain and bladder pain.
The leukocytes have gone but the back pain is still there. I'd say its less but still feels swollen and sore.
The doctor took a urine sample.

How long did it take for your pain to go and do I need to ring the doctor?

I'll take that as a no then?
I just want to know why my back is still painful when the leukocytes are no longer in my urine.
I've tried googling but can't find the answer.

Usually back pain subsides as soon as the infection has cleared up.

Is this the only on going symptom you have?

I would finish the antibiotics and then ask if the doctor could take another sample to ensure, infection is completely cleared as you are getting back pain.
