My lovely Dm brings my 4 kids caramel chocolate buttons (a share bag) everytkme she sees them
We pop them in the cupboard but they don't really get eaten that often
Tbh they are a bit sickly

Give them away?

And ask your mum to not buy them any more because they are going to waste

Dontlickthetrolley · 14/04/2022 14:23

Food bank

Haus1234 · 14/04/2022 14:24

Use them as chocolate chips for cookies / brownies? If you don’t actually want to eat them you can probably offload them at school or work?

Olio

Crunchymum · 14/04/2022 14:25

Use them for baking.

They sound vile. Would they have been eaten if they were normal chocolate buttons?

Takingabreakagain · 14/04/2022 14:25

Melt them and add Krispies or cornflakes.

ApolloandDaphne · 14/04/2022 14:26

Why don't you tell her that you and the kids don't really like them and to bring something else they do like?

PollyPutTheKettleOnKettleOn · 14/04/2022 14:30

I'll take them Grin

ChipButtyCurrySauce · 14/04/2022 14:31

@Takingabreakagain

Melt them and add Krispies or cornflakes.
That sounds lush! I'd be doing that! 😋
Bairnsmum05 · 14/04/2022 14:31

What is this leftover chocolate that you speak of?

toomuchlaundry · 14/04/2022 14:31

I'll eat them!

Roundeartheratchriatmas · 14/04/2022 14:32

Left…left over chocolate ? I’m sorry I don’t understand.

Titsywoo · 14/04/2022 14:33

Olio is great - I give so much food away on there.

Blossomtoes · 14/04/2022 14:35

Nor me. When was it invented?
Reetood · 14/04/2022 14:36

Food Bank or food sharing app if you don't like them and tell your mum so she can switch or stop.

Patchbatch · 14/04/2022 14:36

Are they all in sealed bags or all partially open ones? If sealed you could give them away, if not then melt them down and make corn flake or rice crispy nests for Easter?

MermaidEyes · 14/04/2022 14:38

As someone who was once drowning under the weight of pink wafer biscuits because I made the mistake of telling my Mil the kids quite liked them, I would definitely advise gently telling your mum the kids aren't eating them anymore and to save her pennies

chisanunian · 14/04/2022 14:54

Have you told her they don't like them much and to stop buying them?

OnoNotagain · 14/04/2022 15:36

Send them to me ... I'll pm you my address Grin

Danikm151 · 14/04/2022 15:46

It's possible to have left over chocolate?
Strange haha

melt them down and make your own easter eggs? some places have moulds to do it

SoupDragon · 14/04/2022 15:50

Is this a trick question?

SoupDragon · 14/04/2022 15:51

If you have something like a Velvetiser you can crush them and make hot chocolate.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 14/04/2022 15:52

Does not compute....what is leftover chocolate? Grin
