Has anyone seen that being a coastal Grandma is apparently where it's at right now on TikTok? I'm not a grandmother but I can see the appeal in this as a lifestyle concept. I was a bit obsessed with the old lady lifestyle threads. And I like Grace and Frankie and want their beach house.

I saw that yesterday, and could only conclude that it was an American thing. Those women wouldn't last five minutes on a British beach with the rain coming in horizontally from the North Sea, and I see no mention of 2p-pusher machines.

My DD sent me that link yesterday saying that could be a good vibe for me. I pointed out that cream trousers would be a bit tricky for my 'muddy dog' lifestyle!

😂 yes, definitely more of a California or French Riviera coast than Northumberland, East Lothian or Cumbria!
