Which film/TV program am I thinking of?

I've just been watching a programme on TV where the protagonist innocently helps burglars moving items, not realising the people they're helping are burgling rather than doing work/moving (not naming the programme I'm watching because it's new and don't want to be accused of spoilers). And I know I've seen this storyline before - tbh it's probably a common trope, but it's triggering a specific memory but I can't properly recall it and it's driving me mad.

So wise readers of MN -what programme/ film am i thinking of?

I’m sure there was an episode of One Foot in the Grave with that storyline. The neighbours helped the burglars, gave them tea, and even jump started their van…

I think I've probably seen the One Foot In the Grave episode too, but it's not that I was thinking of - it's just come back to me - it's Malcolm from Malcolm in the Middle The Block Party episode.

There's an episode of Phoenix Nights where two lads steal the club's telly this way.

I'm sure I've seen other examples too, it is a bit of a trope.
