We used to rent but instead of blaming everyone including the landlord we put ourselves in a position to buy. Both our rentals we absolutely would live in. The quirk that one of them has is a garden that is slightly detached and that wasn't appealing to the first time buyers.It was very affordable because of this. Fair enough since they have put themselves in a position to make choices.You should try it sometime.
