Last night I went through DH's phone and found

A video of him showing his DSis our house. Pretty unremarkable usually but last Nov DH had a stroke and lost his voice and in February he died. I never thought I would hear his voice again and now I can hear it whenever I want.

Useless tech question, how do I copy it? I have WhatsApp'd it from his phone to mine, is it as simple as saving it to the cloud somewhere?

If you've got a computer you can log onto your whatsapp from there (web.whatsapp.com) and download the video to your computer. Then you'd be able to keep that copy on there, or save to a USB/upload to a cloud account etc.

If your phone is an android one, you'll already have a google account which has some online cloud storage (Google Drive app on your phone) or you can sign up for it for free

That made me well up What a lovely keepsake. Save it to your camera roll on your phone from the WhatsApp message so you have a copy there, and it will back up to the cloud. You can also email it to yourself from there to be extra sure. So pleased you have found this OP, what a thing to treasure.

My husband nearly died so suddenly in his 30s but was saved. I feel so lucky and take so many pictures and videos because of it.
