I am German and my kids father is English. We have never been married.
The children have got an english passport with their fathers surname.
In Germany children take on the mothers surname. So when I went to the embassy to get the boy's their german passport they used my surname.
They now have an english passport with their dad's surname and a german one with my surname.
Is that ok?
