Texts and caller ID in TV shows

Just pondering this whilst watching The Split - all the characters have mobiles, obviously, and they all get messages and calls from other characters, that have caller ID, message history etc. This must be a total logistical nightmare for production - anyone got any inside info on how they get the right name to show up on the right actor's phone at the right time?

Phone messages can be an image created by the art dept with all the plot-relevant details. Same with computer screens.

There are also special phone numbers that can be acquired exclusively for film/TV purposes. They start with different digits from usual phone numbers.

So you might not be seeing a message, just a photo on the screen?
Also for calls, is some runner standing by to call the right number at the exact time in the script?
I'm fascinated 😁
