Dd ex prison release/risk

Dd ex is due to be let out of prison. In a few days . He will be out on licence. Dd also has a 15 year restraining order on him.

He has told professionals that he will track dd down and the only way he will leave her alone is if he meets another woman with a child.

There is a safety plan and things we have to do incase he tries to approach anyone in the family . I have had to talk to my other children about safety. There are notes being printed that if dd needs to find a safe place such as a shop she can hand over the paper which will explain why she's there and can they call 999.

He will be on a gps tag. Professionals think he's likely to break it.

I don't know why I have written this. Just bit worried I guess.

Thank goodness for that. Are you/your daughter ok?

Yes we are fine. Apparently it was things like not going back to the probation hostel when he should. Smoking weed in his room ect. He's meant to be on GPS but they found it hard to track as he said he lost the charger. But as far as they can work out he's not tried to come to to the area which is a good thing. Glad he's back in though

Good.
Was he released to an approved premises? He would've had a number of significant licence conditions and would've been monitored closely, he will also have been subject to MAPPA I'd imagine and there will have been a police trigger plan.

As soon as he said he lost the charger they should've given him a new one or recalled him. Glad he's back in now. Given the risk is likely to be a standard recall to the end of sentence.

Really pleased he is back inside. Hopefully for a long time. I hope your family weren't harassed in the process?

No not heard a thing from him. It was stupid things. Not going back to probation hostel when he should. Smoking weed is his room .

Yes there was/is mappa. Yes I think the GPS charger thing was an excuse . They said there's no evidence to say he travelled to the area he should not. But can't truly be 100% on that. Yes it's hoped that he will do the rest of his sentence. Which would take him to February. That's not been confirmed though think it gos to some sort of panel.
