What colour would you say these eyes are?

This is my 17 month old DD.
She has such gorgeous eyes. DH (her dad) has very deep bottle green eyes, I have hazel / more brown eyes.

DDs eyes have always been a lovely pale blue but I've noticed she has some little brown patches. Interested in anyones opinions! I wonder if they can change when she's this old? The very sharp dark ring has only really developed in the last few weeks.

What colour would you say this is, and do you think they'll change and to what colour?

Just being curious! :)

Ooh OP these are the exact same colour as my DD's were.

She had blue eyes up until about age 5 or so, the brown specks were noticeable from around age 2/3 years.

Her eyes are mainly green now, but they do go back to blue or grey sometimes depending on what she wears etc.

I didn't actually notice the change from blue to green as it was quite gradual. One day I fetched her from school and they had a list on the door of each child's name in the group of their eye colour. And she was in the green eyed group. Her teacher was there, so I laughed a little and said she had blue eyes though. Her teacher looked at me and said, oh sorry let me check as maybe its a mistake. So we called her over.........her eyes were green Grin I still laugh about it to this day. She does have more brown specks in one eye than the other so sometimes they look different colours.

Her dad has blue eyes and I have bottle green too, so there is a chance they may change, yes.

They are beautiful though, I do agree.

My son's eyes are the same and we never know what colour to call it. They were paler blue/grey when he was a baby. Now they can look green, grey or blue depending on lighting, with golden/light brown rings around the pupil. Gorgeous, but he never knows what to put on forms that ask for eye colour Grin
