Precious and narcissistic

If someone came up to you and said that a person you mutually know is “precious about herself” and “narcissistic” what would you make of that? I got told that about someone I’m friends with but having doubts about our friendship, but how would you picture a person who is “narcissistic” and “precious?”

Im trying to make sense of it

Someone who is up their own backside, assumes they are better than everyone, assumes they dress better, have more money than the Queen. Someone who makes you think please STFU about your second holiday to the Bahamas… when you know they are in a relationship with their credit card or are with a partner who works all hours, 6 days a week and they see maybe 20 mins at night

Do you think such a person would have a tendency to make up lies and exaggerate situations to make the other person look bad and them-self look good?

if someone used the word narcissistic in real life I would assume they were a mumsnetter and that they didn't actually understand the definition of one.

Try to get confirmation and ask if they think mutual friend might have autistic tendencies Grin
