I’ve just run out of both oil and gas😭😭 Wondering whether I should fill up fully or wait till later in the year and just buy minimum amount now?

Any insight? I kind of feel like the gov will intervene in advance of winter.

They don’t care. I hope it brings the government down.

I would fill up. This government don't care. Even if they did, we've already seen their ideas are crap.
If it wasn't for the Ukraine situation I'd say fifty fifty chance of prices going down but now there is no chance.
And part of me thinks the Tories want poor people to wither away and disappear from cold and starvation so again, they won't do anything meaningful to help.

@flashbac I said something similar to a friend yesterday. I'm not usually Tin Foil Hat Guy but it does smack a bit of Scrooge's "decrease the surplus population". After all, it's only the poor who will potentially suffer, starve and die.

Not sure about decreasing the population. There was a mini boom in births 9 months after the power cuts in the 70s. People went to bed to keep warm Grin

I'm keeping an eye on oil prices. They seem to be dropping at the moment so if they reach a sensible price I might top up with 500L soon rather than risk the prices rises again later in the year.

@Justkeeppedaling You can tell I'm newly single, I hadn't factored in any shagging! Grin
