Does your DH take photos of the kids?

My DH does love our DS, but he doesn’t take any photos at all really but I have thousands.

Wondered how normal this was.

Mine takes loads but he is obsessed with his phone camera and bought it for the camera basically.

When DD was little smart phones hadn't been invented, so we just had one camera which was mine, so I took all the photos.

No, I have 100s of cute moments with him and the kids, and any I have of me with them I've had to ask for (so never in the moment) or they're selfies. Very annoying.

My DH takes more pics of the kids than I do. Its just not something I think to do. I forgot to take any pictures at my daughters 5th birthday party last week.

Yes. Does he take pictures of me with the kids, especially ones without four chins and one eye closed? Nope.

He'll take a pic if I ask him to but otherwise it's me who takes all the photos. It's why I'm in very few of our holiday photos, unless I take a selfie.

No, I take loads but my DH would not think to whip his phone out and take a photo of our DS.

Yes of course he does. He takes just as many as I do and makes sure he takes plenty of me and DS. I can't imagine not having any spontaneous pictures of me and DS.

On family days out my dh takes the majority of the photos (disclaimer he’s a wedding photographer).

No mine doesn't. The ones he does take tend to be really bad quality anyways. Just blurry.

No, only very rarely. I take thousands. I’ve always consider photos to be one of my most precious possessions, preserving memories of life in print. DH isn’t bothered.

Yes he takes quite a lot, when my eldest was a baby 8 years ago he took thousands, I'm still not sure if he's gone through them all yet Grin

Nope, he will take some maybe at a specific event or outing but day to day won't. I will see him and DS having a lovely 'moment' and snap it. He would never think to take a photo of me with DS unless I asked, and then the lovely moment would be gone anyway
