I have given up trying to book abroad, the prices are just crazy. In London and now considering going away for three nights just for a change of scene but I'm overthinking everything now so please help.

Best trip in the uk I ever had with a baby/small child was to St Ives. If you can get accommodation in the town itself then you have three beaches, the Tate and many shops and cafes on the door step it’s perfect. Fresh air. Good food. Family friendly and culture too and all on foot. No car required.

I second St Ives too. Have you been before?

I recommend going wherever you fancy. Your daughter will love being with you. If you want a city break look at the town you are interested in and search accommodation. If you want seaside go somewhere not too far away. A change is as good as a rest.
(Personally I usually look at either which premier Inn we can afford or which caravan park I fancy that has space.)

It does look stunning but for that journey length I think a week minimum!

Isle of Wight?
Norfolk Coast?
Dorset (I love Lyme Regis - but like St Ives, for a stress free break, just park your car and leave it)
Whitstable and Rye are both pretty and not too far from London.

Saunton sands hotel in Devon. They do free childcare .

Look at the family friendly hotel chain, lovely hotels and free childcare
