Reposting from holidays for traffic

Getting married on 28th December and looking to honeymoon somewhere warm. We will also have our 2 year old with us.

We are considering Mexico but it's fairly pricey. The most cost effective option seems to be Egypt as they are offering free child place. Just wondering if anyone has been in January or recently and how they found it?

Any other destination recommendations?

Congrats, travelling with a two year old, I would consider the canaries, great weather in winter, safe, only a 4hr flight. I haven’t been to Mexico, but recent press articles would put me off, due to crime. Been to Egypt once, wouldn’t return.
