How to turn off substitutions for ASDA shop?

Anyone done this before?

I find the wording confusing.
" To select individual products that you don’t want to receive substitutions for, click the check box next to the item. Or click the Select All check box if you don’t want substitutions for any of the products."

Does that mean if I don't want substitutions the box has to be ticked?

Makes more sense to uncheck them. I hate nonsensical rules.

I have to click the box so, instead of it being green and having a tick, it’s just empty so I don’t get subs.

You can always had the subs back to the driver for a refund if you don’t want them.

So the box, when green and ticked means subs received, you click on the box to remove the tick so you don’t get subs.
