2 for 1 National Rail tickets for London Eye/Tower of London?

Someone at DH’s work was telling him about this deal but I’m struggling to work out how it works! Has anyone done this and can tell me what I need to do and in what order?! Do I need to book eg the London Eye tickets in advance or on the day? Then show the Travel Card on arrival?

London eye, most people book a lot in advance. I just wandered along, bought a ticket and joined the humungous queue. Not suitable for people with health issues who cannot queue, but interesting otherwise.

We've done this- we did London zoo, Tower of London, HMS Belfast, using the National rail 2 for 1....

You need to go to the National rail website- try Googling National rail 2 for 1 and then you book via that site.

Some attractions just require you to print a voucher off- which you then present along with the rail tickets at the ticket office. Other attractions required you to choose a date and pay for it there and then, and you then get an email with the ticket on.

I have to say that the last time we really used these offers was in 2019- and just turning up to attractions was possible. But I suspect you just have to book in advance now via the website and use the offer that way.

It does involve a little bit of sitting down with some time and patience to get the vouchers etc- but really worth it- we have saved us a fortune over a few visits to London using this...
