Disney spending money

I know this is a 'how long is a piece of string' type question.. but we are off to Disney in FLorida in June. We are doing one week in Orlando then driving to one of the islands to stay in a villa for the second.

We have tickets etc booked and am hoping to book 2 special meals. I think we will go to the parks 4, maybe 5 out of the 7 days.

We have a hire car too.
How much spending money will we need for food and some random purchases- theres 2 adults, 6yo and 2yo. Will probably do easy breakfasts before we go and won't eat out all the time.

Thanks!

Bring a picnic for the Space Center day. From memory the food there was the worst and there's a big outdoor picnic area with seating. As it's not as huge as Disney less of a trek to go to the car and back with the picnic bag.

Another little bit of advice. When we went, we had not realised how people make reservations months in advance for some of the special restaurants in Disney. We found if we ate at odd times (ie, lunch at 2pm) we had no trouble booking.

Another thing we did was to buy Disney items as souvenirs before we got to Disney. So my kids got Disney t shirts, ears etc but cost me a fraction of the cost as what was charge inside Disney itself. I just brought them with me in my luggage to hand out through the trip.
