Are there any average professional people who love dance music/festivals

I would love to go to creamfields/boundary etc but I am trying to be diplomatic here many people I know locally anyway into this kind of music is a bit chaotic/into drugs more than the music etc
I feel like whilst I would get into it I would stick out like a sore thumb

I've never been to Creamfields because it's not my sort of music but I know lots of people who live local to the site. A lot of them go in a 'if you can't beat them, join them' spirit due to the noise and disruption rather than anything else. However, I don't think I've heard anyone complaining about sticking out like a sore thumb - I think you'd have to work quite hard to achieve that status!

Sorry - should have been clearer. The point I was making was that the people I know who go are from all kinds of backgrounds/ages/musical taste and aren't what you would 'typically' associate with dance music.

I haven't been to creamfields but I have been to large festivals and in ime it is absolutely impossible to stand out as there are so many 10000s of people there. Even if you stripped naked and ran around the site I don't suppose it would cause much of a stir

What is an average professional person and how do you spot them?

Surely the thing with a music festival is that everyone is there to enjoy music, being with other people who enjoy the music and just having a good time.

All sorts of people go to festivals

DH and I go to creamfields. Mid-30s, professional jobs, young kids. Trust me, nobody will even notice you.
