Smart meter - does it display your daily standing charge

Hi all.

Well basically as the subject heading says.

I have a Shell smart meter. I can toggle it between daily, weekly and monthly usage.

For the life of me I cannot work out if it also includes the daily standing charges in the ££ on the display.

I have tried to google and have looked on the Shell website but am none the wiser. E.g. now my gas usage is £0 as the heating is not on, but if it included the daily charge I would assume that at least that would show? Does anyone know? Much appreciated as am trying to budget this

I think mine just shows usage without the standing charge.

I think mine must do to which annoys me as it is not the real daily charge

I don’t have one but from other threads it seems like smart meters add the standing charge daily so I think it would come under your daily usage.

I've come to the conclusion that mine doesn't because the daily standing charge was almost doubling from 1st April but my daily charges on the meter haven't really gone up.

Thanks all! I guess I will have to err on side of caution and assume it doesn’t. Or spend 3 hrs in phone queue to Shell to try find out

No, ours doesn't, it just shows usage. Which is annoying tbh.
