Yes, I go several times a week year-round, usually with a couple of friends or a small group.

I haven’t made the sea yet, too far away but lake or river swimming weekly. Usually go with a frienD

I’ve managed a few lochs this year. Have been recovering from a chest infection and so I’ve missed out lately. Managed a sea swim at Christmas.
Always go with at least one other and would never swim alone.

Yes. Please don’t do it on your own.

With my husband, yes. I wouldn’t do it alone although he does. I swim outside year round.

It’s still cold so make sure you take plenty of warm layers and a hot drink for afterwards.

No I haven't, though when in Brighton in early February saw a group who were swimming in the sea, and seemed to be regulars if their lack of screaming at the cold is a guide.

There were loads in Cornwall a few weeks ago. I wasn't brave enough to try....... but wish I had.

It is, this was my first winter and I stopped screaming around December, you do get acclimatised

Yes, on my own. I cold water swim all year round but in the sea, I only go in relatively sheltered places that I’m comfortable are safe for solo swimming. Though sometimes Dh and dc come along and hang out on the beach.
