Urgent DIY Easter bonnet suggestions!

Oh bugger! So I need to 'help' my 4yo make an Easter bonnet / hat for a parade, tomorrow! What can I make from items already in my house?! I have card, craft things like pom poms, and a glue gun... Go!

straw hat with paper flowers?

What colour pom poms? White/ brown make rabbits? Yellow chick's..

If you've got cotton wool, a sheep or a bunny are easy.

Stick a cross on it
Paper flowers
Just stick a load of pom poms on it

Create a 2 inch band that fits the circumference of your child’s head, stick together. Cut out long/tall bunny ears and glue on. Then around the rest of the band stick on green craft card cut to look like long grass. You can cut out flower/bug shapes and stick onto the ‘grass’

My friends children go to a highly religious school and she was surprised by the child who turned up with a crown of thorns and theatrical blood dropped down their forehead. Just giving you some options.

Cut out a band of card that fits the child's head, paint or colour, draw some chicks/bunnies/flowers on card, cut out and get child to colour and stick on. Add some stickers/feathers/real flowers if you like.

Oh good thinking!!! Ds has a giant head though, will have to see if it'll fit!
