Sky Garden London?

Is it worth visiting if you’re not going to eat or drink there?
We are planning a trip and on that day we will have already been for afternoon tea at The Shard so I’m just wondering if it’s worth visiting as we definitely won’t need food?!
Is the garden element really fab?

I went a couple of years before covid and it wasnt an eating/drinking place. By that I mean you could eat and drink but that was a separate thing. Has it changed

The garden wasn't Fab either, again I don't think it"s meant to be

The views are excellent with the added option of refreshments if you want them and some plants.

In a word, no. It's got great views, but not so amazing that it's worth seeing separately if you've already been up the Shard. The 'garden' is mainly palms and ferns and greenery, the main attraction is the view outside. It's a lovely place to go for dinner, but imo not really worth it as an attraction in its own right. Spend your time elsewhere - Thames Cruise, one of the museums etc.

I went a few years ago and had lunch there which was really great but I'm not sure it's worth it if you're already going to the Shard the same day.

Have a lovely time though whatever you decide!!

Its a nice place, but only for the views really. There isn't a garden as such - more just a load of huge planters.

if you've been up the shard id leave the sky garden for another trip

as pp states, visit a museum or the river boat for something different

I wouldn't bother if your going to the shard.
The roof garden is not worth visiting Just for that it's a bit 80s.
We did it for the view, free and garden added attractive

Kensington roof gardens however is truly stunning.
