Anyone got tips for heat protection for 11yoDD?

Hello, just wondering if anyone can recommend a really good heat protection spray for DD's hair? She has a disco this week and wants me to do curls with a straightener (she has long straight hair) but I'm worried about damaging her hair. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a John Frieda one with avocado oil, it's in a green bottle. Smells good and doesn't make your hair greasy.

I use L'Oréal elvive heat slayer and its really good. Apply liberally for thick hair though.
