We are visiting family in France for first time in two years (due to covid). I need to buy gifts for 11 year old boy. Last time we saw them it was all about Minecraft but now I haven’t got a clue, I don’t have boys on my side of the family so not a scooby. Can’t buy football shirt, which was my first idea, as they support that sanctioned club, Ideas please?

Going via Eurotunnel, in car, so no worries about postage etc

I have to agree, for a boy you don't know well, cash would probably be safest. Card with money inside stuck on a box of american or korean type sweets.

I'd go with a quiet word with mum, see what he's actually into, cash seems a bit boring but other stuff can wildy miss the mark.
