I thought it was for bloggers to advertise blogs, but all these posts are just random chat about anything! Have I got it wrong?

You are right, it is a very random collection of posts, I would have thought the same as you that bloggers would post links to blog posts.

While perusing the random posts, I did learn that a) sperm have heads and b) those heads can be misshapen. This is quite the revelation.
