You've got to guess the country
Got it on my first attempt today was a total guess

I got it in 6 but only because I had a world map to hand. My geography is shockingly bad.

I love Worldle! Especially finding small islands in the middle of the ocean

I’ve never managed it.
Have you tried Globle?

Got globle in 11 today.

I've been looking for this for a while but never been able to find it. I knew I hadn't imagined it

No, I've not heard of it. How does it differ?

That's cheating🤣

Yes, my geography is shockingly bad too

It seems to me there are a lot of tiny little Pacific islands which are actual territories, with names. Who knew?

BluebellsGreenbells · 03/04/2022 18:16

My DA is really good at this game and can’t explain why? He doesn’t study maps or anything. It’s just odd.

bellabelly · 03/04/2022 18:19

Globle is nice because you get unlimited guesses. My dds do it sometimes at primary school and I have started giving it a go. You have to guess the country and each time you guess, that country gets coloured in (white for v far away, orange for nearer, dark red if you are close). It's definitely helping me to improve my geographical knowledge!

MichaelAndEagle · 03/04/2022 18:20

Does the arrow tell you which direction you need to go from where your guess is?

Worldle is my favourite of my daily dle games. Tbh it's becoming quite a commitment. Hope no-one introduces me to any more.

Malbecfan · 03/04/2022 21:02

Globle is just random guesses. The colour on the map gives you an idea of how close you are to the answer as @bellabelly says.

Worldle is the one with the country silhouetted. That has an arrow to tell you which direction and how far away your guess is. Today's was too simple.

If you are musical, especially if you know about choral music, try Byrdle. I normally solve those in fewer guesses than Wordle...

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 03/04/2022 21:21

If pop music is more your scene, try Heardle.

@MichaelAndEagle, yes. Plus there is distance from the target in kms, and a percentage of accuracy. Under 50% and you are usually in the wrong ocean or hemisphere.
