SN assistance on Jet2 flight

I’m a single parent taking my 3 dc on a flight for the first time in the summer. One of my dc has asd and one has adhd. What kind of support in the airport would be available for us? I don’t think we’ll need a huge amount but anything will help.

I’ll be contacting the special assistance team nearer the time but was just wondering what to expect.

When I booked special assistance for my mum (dementia) she and my dad were fast tracked through check in, security and mum was given a lanyard to wear so all the airport staff knew she had dementia. They was also first onto the plane. This was with jet2, they were excellent, very kind.

Sunflower lanyard (look up “hidden disabilities” for the airport you’re using)

You should be able to get escorted through security to avoid to much queuing, and escorted from departures to boarding gate with priority boarding. It helps a lot!

Thank you, that sounds great. I think boarding first would be really helpful to us, hopefully less chaotic.
