I need a new vacuum cleaner. Recommend me one?

I currently have a Dyson one which is too heavy and is now not working properly. I have a fairly big 4 bedroom house and a Labrador so I need something robust but easy to use. I am thinking of going back to a cylinder. What do you have and would you recommend it? Thanks.

I've managed to fix the problem with the Dyson so won't be needing a new vacuum cleaner just yet.

Henry, I know they can be a bit cumbersome to carry upstairs, but for the price they are far away the best.

Not Bosch cordless. Have to pick hair and fluff out of the brush every time I use it and it only lasts 15 minutes on high power.

We have a cordless one but it is no good for the whole house.

I am looking at the AEG bagless animal cylinder. It is lightweight and seems to do a good job.
