What is wrong with my foot?

It feels too minor to see GP, but I don’t know what to Google to find out.

I have a sore spot on the sole of my foot, just below the base of the big toe. Theres’a nothing visible, but it feels like there is a pimple under the skin that’s painful to touch.

Any ideas? I haven’t a clue how to treat it when I don’t k or what it might be.

Sounds like a verucca. You can buy treatments in a pharmacy

Sounds like there could be something in there. Try putting a hot flannel on it to see if that will draw anything and apply gentle pressure around it. Have you broken a glass recently? Are you a hairdresser? Sometimes a tiny hair can cause a lot of pain if it gets burried into the sole of the foot. Failing all that see a podiatrist or foot health professional who will be able to check it out

Yes sounds like a verruca. You can get freeze sprays for them that work well.

My DS had a lump on his foot, but it didn’t look like a verruca. Went to the GP, he said it was, and eventually it did look like one.

I agree that it could be a verucca starting.
