Big Primark. Isn't it the biggest in the country?

Oops just seen independent shops. Sorry Blush

When I was a student this was an interesting place for a mooch- city centre.
The jewellery quarter has some nice cafes and places to eat, as well as lots of sparkle.
Cadbury world is a bit meh.
Canal boat tours are interesting. I think you can now do a stand up paddle board tour from gas street basin.

Oh and the custard factory in digbeth.

She definitely wants to go to primark! I want some independent shops too, she just mentioned a cat cafe too

I went to Birmingham with my teen dd in Feb half term, she liked the Custard Factory plus some other independent markets/vintage shops in the Digbeth area. Also liked the canal area with art galleries, barge trips, some independent shops and cafes.

As PP have said, definitely visit the Custard Factory /Digbeth area. It's about a 10min walk from Selfridges/Bullring so you could browse the mainstream shops too.

The cat cafe is really expensive for what it is although quite sweet, you might not be able to meet any of the cats!

Selfridges is great and Fumo there is really lovely for lunch.

There's a new agey place - Zen - near the Custard Factory

The cat cafe is fairly grim.

The Custard Factory will be a hit, as would Red Brick Market in Digbeth. There’s a big vintage shop down there too.

If you want a nice independent lunch before Cadbury World then walk into Stirchley from Bournville station ( opposite direction from Cadbury World). CanEat is brilliant. Or Kafenion on Bournville Green.

She might like a walk round the Jewellery Quarter. If you’re down there in need of food then Tierra Tacos is just perfect.
