Do you have song that just sums everything up for you? Relating to things you are going through, things happening in the world.

At the moment mine has to be (imo) the best ever Eagles song, The Last Resort. It's 45 years old and to me, it's a masterpiece.

It's just about as old as me, I have always loved the song, but at the moment every time I listen to it, I go through so many emotions.

Does anyone want to share theirs?

"Different Drum" written by Mike Nesmith (The Monkees) and sung by Linda Ronstadt, circa 1970s. It's about two people who are in a relationship that has run its course or never really got off the ground in the first place. The singer is explaining to the other that the two of them want different things out of life and the relationship is doomed.

Reminds me so much of me and my ex.
