Ds 6 asleep after being ill- how long?

Ds unwell we had a horrific night of crying, coughing wheezing and very very little sleep. Ended with an ambulance coming to monitor him at 6am!
Hes now asleep, how long would you let him sleep for. I'll be honest I'm exhausted and want us both to get a good sleep tonight but also dont want to wake him as I know it's doing him good.

I'd leave him for as long as possible and try to get some sleep yourself, if you can?

Good idea. Hes actually asleep on me so not too comfortable but I'll try. DH taken other 2dc out so at least a quiet house.

If he’s asleep leave him to sleep. My sons sleep when unwell my asthmatic son not so much but the older one gets migraines so will sleep it off can be all day. Just make sure he’s fine whilst asleep and hopefully the rest will do him good
