Hi, there are an increasing number of threads from people in difficulty due to rising fuel and living costs.
Is there a charity that provides eg fuel vouchers for people who need them, similar to a food bank for example? I know that we need bigger interventions from govt and energy companies as well as restrictions on profiteering and … dare I say it… changes to tax and benefits, higher wages for workers to keep up with the costs (which in turn Crete more costs)… but all these things take time and political willpower and in the meantime people are suffering.
I’d like to be able to help in a small way if there is a charity who can make sure people who need some extra support get it. A bit like the way we donate to the food bank each month. Does anyone know if that exists?
