Can you help me with Spanish travel rules and covid?

Hello!

We are due to travel to Spain on evening of April 11th

Yesterday my 13yr old tested positive for covid

She has had only one vaccine for covid and therefore has to provide a negative PCR test (paid for) 72hrs before flying

We are booked to have this done on April 9th

The guidance seems to suggest that if we get a positive PCR now, then we could get a certificate of recovery instead of the fit to fly PCR for her

However when you go k the nhs site, they are no longer doing PCR tests as it’s 1st April

Does anyone know how we can please get around this problem?

It’s likely that my daughter will be safe to fly in the 11th, but might not provide a clear PCR on the 9th

Tia

Can you still record her positive and subsequent negative lft, we used that to get the cert of recovery ( but it seems to change daily)

Will 11 days actually have passed? It depends how precisely they measure it.

If I were you I would register the lft with the date of 31st March and also turn up for the pcr test in case it is negative.

You're too late for a recovery certificate as 11 days need to have passed from the positive PCR by the time you travel. Just need to hope she tests negative on the 9th I think!

Actually I take that back as I see she tested positive on 31st March so that does give you 11 days! You say you have applied for a recovery certificate successfully? What date does it say on that?

We go on the 9th and have just had Covid in the house so I have been looking up the rules.
It’s a bit tight. The recovery from Covid certificate doesn’t appear on the nhs app until you have recovered. Your Covid pass disappears while you are positive and then reappears with a recovery certificate after midnight on day 10. Can you get the nhs app for a 13 year old? Or do you need to ring 119?
Also uncertain if it needs to be a pcr for recovery certificate.
In our case we all succumbed one by one- is DD the only one with it in the house?

Thank you! Really helpful to know about certificates of recovery and nhs app

She does have the app so hopefully it will appear on there

We’ve all had covid. We thought she’d escaped but no!! What a nightmare
