We live in London and fancy going to see a show or play next week. Any recommendations?

The Play That Goes Wrong. Brilliant for that age - extremely clever and very very funny.

Come from Away is good
We love Dear Evan Hansen too

The Play that Went wrong is definitely good for all ages.

We saw Cinderella yesterday, and I'd have thought that age would enjoy it too. Warning though, it is quite a long way from the original story!

Matilda always goes down well too.

Six, I'd have said definitely for the 14yo, not sure the younger one would enjoy it as much as the others here.

My 9yo has seen Six and was absolutely enthralled - but she's been listening to the soundtrack a lot beforehand so she knew the songs.

My just nine year old son has seen six twice and loved it! He is very into history but honestly it's funny. Matilda is also good, he likes musicals and has enjoyed Hamilton, phantom of the opera, evita (not sure if on at theatre anymore, he watched it on tv ) school of rock, lion king is always good too.

Hamilton
Six
Come from Away

Anything that the Mischief Theatre Company do is great (The play that goes wrong etc).

Mama Mia is always fun
Lion King
Jersey Boys

All of them have something to offer every age group

The national theatre hamlet is supposed to be good for families. The mousetrap? Got to do it once!

Thanks everyone. I’ve seen a few of the recommendations.

Some great ideas here.
