Other than the pill do you take anything to stop your periods?
Any side effects?
I've heard good stuff about the coil?

I've been in the mini pill for about ten years and haven't had a period in all that time. It's bliss.

I take the POP pill to stop my periods. Not had one in four years, woohooo! I'm 50 and that is the only reason I take them, I'm single so don't need them for contraception.

Cerelle stopped my period, very rarely some spotting.

Any side effects with the mini pill?

Yes, Cerezette. Works wonders for me, no periods.

Cerezette was great.

They then swapped it to Cerelle (cheaper I think) and I got horrble cystic acne.
I asked to try a different kind and was told it wouldn't make a difference as the active ingredient was the same. But was prescribed noriday, which have not given me any acne and are still great for no periods and no noticeable side effects.

combined pill (rigevidon) with no break, works wonderfully and life changing for me as I really struggled with periods, they made me feel so ill and now don't have any.
Tried mini pill first (cerazette) but lots of breakthrough bleeding and felt low in mood.
