Don’t mind forking out for a good one

What size? Or do you mean using the lego figures as dolls?

The heartland city Grand Hotel could work.

Or if you want something larger and not averse to paying a few hundred, there's the Home Alone house...

What age? There is a Duplo dolls house.

Yeah I did look at the home alone house and the blacksmith cottage
It’s for about so I’m not sure he’d like the heart lake hotel ones

It’s for using the figures as people and playing with it like a dolls house

There's the gingerbread house.
There is also a Lego friends house, but it's from a few years ago and possibly not sold new now.
The large castle is my DD's favourite to play with as a "house" because it's for a prison in it. Don't ask Grin

Then obviously there's a the Hogwarts buildings, some of the Star Wars sets have houses, I think they did a Flintstones set. Also the elves set had a couple of school/buildings as did the ninjago sets.

I had the simpsons house that had people and rooms...

I've bought DS1 a lego city house that comes with a balcony for his birthday. Not sure of the code but it was £40 in John Lewes a few months ago.

Home Alone house is amazing, I can't justify paying that much out for lego though!

Ifailed · 01/04/2022 06:50

Clearly showing my age, but why not just buy a load of blocks and build your own house?

Legoisthebest · 01/04/2022 06:54

The Creator 3 in 1 range has several houses.

The friends ones are a bit pink but they are better than normal Lego as a dolls house, because the people are bigger and therefore can have more elaborate accessories, furniture etc

Legoisthebest · 01/04/2022 07:29

MotherOfCrocodiles Lego Friends figures are the same scale as regular minifigs so they all fit together and the accessories/furniture is the same size.

My kids love playing with the figures in all different sets - it doesn't need to be a house as such. However without fail eventually they end up in ruins because they make modifications and move/lose bits. Fine, it's their toy and it's because they are playing with it rather than keeping it as a model to look at. But for this reason personally I wouldn't spend a lot on a really fancy lego house. If you want a house that stays in one piece then playmobil might be better.

Thanks for the advice
I’ve ordered the gingerbread house
