I'm struggling to find a good father daughter dance songs for my wedding.

Does anyone have any suggestions at all please?

This isn’t something we do in my culture but I was going to incorporate and forgot.

I was going to pick ‘Have a Little Help from my Friends’ - Joe Cocker, because we used to watch The Wonder Years together and he always sang along.

I'm Scottish, our second dance was a Gay Gordon's with my dad as my partner, DH with his mum and my mum and FIL together.

My daughter mentioned this. I'm now planning a leg break to save myself the mortification

Me and my dad did the John Travolta and Uma Therman dance from Pulp Fiction to Chuck Berry "You Never Can Tell" it was so much fun - but we did have a Vegas wedding so it wasn't a traditional wedding as such but I will treasure the memory of us dancing like lunatics and my dad throwing some shapes 🤣

My Dad and I danced to my wish by rascal flatts. I’m really glad coz he died very suddenly less than a year after my wedding

It's a funny song and everything and it's been a few years since I've heard it but from what I remember the lyrics are more what Id think id link between myself and the person I'm having sex with , not something I'd link to my relationship with my parent which is what I thought the dad/daughter song was about. Ive only ever seen them on social media though so I've probably misunderstood.
