We aren't in Greenwich Mean Time, though, we're in British Summer Time now. Pacific is 8 hours behind us.

UselessTrees · 31/03/2022 17:56

8pm (because we're now on British Summer Time, not GMT - that's probably where the confusion is!)

MalteserGeezee · 31/03/2022 17:57

Yes, noon Pacific Time is currently 8pm UK time.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 31/03/2022 17:57

And we use UTC now not GMT.

RandomQuest · 31/03/2022 17:57

As PP says, we’re not in GMT, we’re in BST. So it’s 8 hours time difference.

Pomtastic · 31/03/2022 17:58

Agree 8pm, because both places are currently on daylight saving time and the time difference is usually 8 hours - Pacific time zone is currently on PDT not PST and we are on BST not GMT

meloncolic · 31/03/2022 18:09

Oh you clever clogs all of you. What is UTC though?

UTC (universal time zone) is the same time as GMT. So BST is UTC+1. Don’t ask me why it has a different name. Maybe to make the whole zone thing less british centric since the world doesn’t actually revolve around London?!
