Should I be worried at quick referral?

Went to see GP last night at 6pm about breast lump

She said she would do an urgent referral and I would be seen within 2 weeks

The breast clinic phoned me this morning and offered me an appointment tomorrow which I can't do
So they've offered me Monday

Now I'm super paranoid

I've been there twice and hold your hand. It's so scary but the two week pathway isn't because it is cancer for sure but because they want to check to rule it out. I know how hard it is though and until you know for sure, worrying is normal - even if it won't help.

My mammogram had a recall 3 years ago. That was a cyst.

I also had a bug 5 years ago with awful symptoms including blood in my urine. The tests didn't detect an infection so I was put on a two week pathway for that too. In order to rule out the sinister possibilities. I had a whole day of bloods, tests, scans, iv thingy ultrasounds and camera bladder check. When I knew I had to go, I couldn't sleep and rang my Mum to cry at 2 in the morning! I was 50!
