What room do you spend the most time in?

Just that really… what room in your home do you spend the most time in? I’d say for me it’s the kitchen. With three kids it’s definitely the place I’m usually in either doing cooking/cleaning/washing dishes/laundry.

What about you?

Kitchen/family room. We work in there, Our daughter watches TV/plays there while we cook, it's big and sunny with a few chairs so i can watch the birds.
We only use the sitting room after she's gone to bed, it's the adult space.

Kitchen/ diner a lot. I use dining table a lot for work, toddler uses for arts and crafts or little toys. As well as eating/ prepping.

We generally only use living room on days dh and i are both off or later in the evening

Sitting room. It has a comfy sofa, two arm chairs, a TV and an open fire. Everything I need for relaxing. It faces west and has a big window so it's a really bright room in the afternoon and evening. I associate the kitchen with work (cooking, washing up etc.) and it mainly consists of the cooker, sink and kitchen presses. The dining room faces east so while it's nice and bright in the morning, it gets darker later in the day. DD mainly uses the dining table for doing her homework and arts and crafts. DCats prefer the sitting room also and were most put out when they were evicted for a few days so I could paint the room. They kept trying to slip back in.

Working from home I'd say there's an even split of time between office and living room then bedroom.

For me, it's the bedroom. I'm disabled with Arthritis, and a few other conditions, and my adjustable bed is much more comfy for me than being in the front room.

Living room as I work from home and have my desk in there. Also spend lots of time in the kitchen which has a big table and also a whole seating area. I never go into my bedroom apart from dressing and sleeping. I don’t think I have ever in my life sat in there for any other reason

I have a kitchen/ diner with a small sofa so spend most of my time in there.

Living Room and office depending on if I'm working.
