Holiday with a four year old

Hello.

I have a four year old daughter and I want to take her away on holiday before she starts school in September. It will just be me and her.

Can you please recommend your best places in Europe to go with a four year old? Preferably with lots to keep a child entertained.

Thanks

Camping in North Wales - near the coast.

Not quite what you had in mind, I think Grin my eldest was just under 4 and loved camping, with the sea on one side and hills on the other.
Castles, beach, rock pools, streams, what's not to love?!

What are her interests?

duvetdayforeveryone · 30/03/2022 18:39

And what do you want in a holiday too?

Isle of Wight. Sandown is best Smile

She will appreciate time with you, playing on the beach, a trip to the zoo and an ice cream every day.

I'm sorry, I know many many people adore camping. But I CANNOT abide it! Grin I just don't want to be cold and tired and (not) sleep on hard ground!

Sandown is actually a brilliant idea! I will have a look at options. Although she is the weirdest child in the world and hates ice cream.

At the moment, my daughter loves parks, pools, animals and crafty things. I would really love to be somewhere warm.

She also loves beaches and trees and rolling down hills

Magic natura in Benidorm, it has access to the zoo straight from the resort, free water park access, separate lodges and pools etc on site.

DogDaysNeverEnd · 30/03/2022 23:47

What kind of budget are you thinking?

Squishedpickle · 31/03/2022 09:49

@Yolooohno that sounds brilliant, thanks, will have a look

@DogdaysNeverEnd I'd prefer to keep to £1200 or under but we can obviously go out of season
