Diverse places in Kent?

In desperate need of some advice. Me and my partner are a mixed couple, I've lived in london for most of my life and I love it, we currently live in a villagey part lots of parks and pubs not a lot of shoping zero nightlife but very accessible to central london and it is a dream a part from the cost of housing. A friend of mines recently moved to kent and her place is beautiful but theres no diversity and no life in walking distance. I've visited Canterbury and absolutely loved it, only problem is it's too far of a commute for me, I work in bromley and my partner works central. I've been looking at Rainham, Greenhite, Faversham, Swancomb
West malling, Tunbridge wells and
Sevenoaks but are any of these places even a tiny bit diverse? I'm fully expecting an 1/8 of what we have currently but I want our future kids and myself to feel somewhat at home.

Depends what you mean by diverse.....Rochester...Maidstone ...sound like they could be more your bag. I grew up in Rainham...it is diverse not perhaps in the way you mean but did me no harm at all.

Maidstone relatively mixed for home counties- kids' school is very diverse, about 30 different languages/cultures. Also a significant number of people from a Nepalese, owing to local Barracks/Gurkhas.

Medway- includes Rochester, etc, less so, although a growing black African population. Further east, Gravesend way, large Asian population, large Sikh community.

Central and East Kent not at all diverse... and Sevenoaks and TW very expensive and not very diverse at all!

My brother lives in Wouldham. The high street is....one shop! Parking is shite too. He is hoping to move at some point though.
