No idea what to buy with this gift card. What would you go for?

I'd blow the lot on a bottle of my favourite perfume Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/03/2022 14:07

The biggest bottle of nice bubble bath they sell, plus some make up and a Fantasie bra here, please. :)

Air pods

bowlingalleyblues · 29/03/2022 14:31

A bit of le creuset cookware, new bed linen - something that I’ll enjoy using daily.

SilverHairedCat · 29/03/2022 14:32

Don't forget you can use it in Waitrose too.

AiryFairy1 · 29/03/2022 14:40

I just spent mine on part of some new summer clothes - boring!

Perfume, bedding, fancy cookware, makeup 👏

GoldenApple · 29/03/2022 14:50

I bought a glass cake dome with my JL vouchers. You should have something leftover with £100 though. The estate agent loved that I filled it with croissants when he came to take internal photos to sell the property 🤣

Ooh I need a new bra

Also very much into bath smellies...actually nice smells in general...

Any recommendations for something to make the house smell nice...some sort of diffuser maybe?

I have a 2 month old and was thinking about getting a baby gym mat thingy but haven't a clue where to start. Any suggestions to buy for baby?

We've always spent them on car seats before! How long does it last?

Something from their Anyday Range. Lol Easter bits, bedding and towels
Isonthecase · 29/03/2022 19:44

So could be a good option for the next size up car seat for you, especially in black Friday sales? I know it's boring but basically I'd buy something I needed anyway then fritter the money saved wherever I liked.

GreatPretender1977 · 30/03/2022 04:36

We already have a car seat for when he's older hut we do need a high chair...

Cheesechips · 30/03/2022 04:46

I think you could get a baby gym for cheap second hand. High chairs can be cheap and many sold second hand. Treat yourself instead Wink

I just put a high chair and baby gym in the basket and then I check back here and see this post and now I'm thinking...yes...I deserve a treat!!

If you can't think what to buy, get groceries from Waitrose with the voucher and then just put £100 aside until you see something that you want that it would buy and otherwise you'd not be able to afford/justify the expense. Then you can buy it as you have the money.

Or if you need new bras, you could do the above then spend £100 on 2/3 from Bravissimo or a good independent. Unless you think your size/shape hasn't settled down post baby. You might not want to blow all the money on bras if they won't fit in 3 months.

Or you could get them fitted from JL but I don't know if they're any good and I don't really remember anyone on here saying either of 'JL fitting service is really good' or 'don't buy bras from JL, they're shit, just like M&S' which is strange because MN likes to tell people where to buy bras and Mumsnet really likes JL.

Or if you don't have a kindle, you need one of those. They're especially good for reading during night feeds.

Perfume
Underwear
Silk pillowcase
Jo Malone candle
Waitrose number 1 good

That would be my extravagance.

sixoclockalready · 30/03/2022 07:31

Clothes! Shoes, trainers
Make up
Handbag
Sunglasses
Skincare products
Kids clothes

You don't need to use it all in one go. Use it for your skincare products every few months
