Is this something that exists separate to the nhs ?
Or would I have to make my own care package somehow of private counsellor , herbal remedies for depression etc ?

I think you just have to DIY. I've hunted for similar for DH unsuccessfully. Get your counsellor via BACP so they are registered. Ask for personal reccondations of alternative therapies. Some work together in a practice and therefore can be likte an MDT. Eg my local oesteopath has acupuncturist and masseuse under the same roof and often they refer to eachother.

A Chinese medical practitioner/ acupuncturist will be able to advise on supplements and could be a good 'hub' person as they take a very holistic approach, and may have other contacts, massage etc.

That’s a good idea I hadn’t thought about massage etc I suppose it would be beneficial as relaxing
